Rinchem Korea Expansion Project to Complete in May 2017

5/23/2017 – Albuquerque, NM - Rinchem Company Inc.’s current project to expand and upgrade its logistics center in South Korea is on track to finalize in May 2017. This project adds an entirely new set of warehouses to the existing logistics center in Pyeongtaek, Korea. The new campus will increase storage capabilities by 12,350 pallet positions.

The new warehouses support multiple temperature zones to accommodate a variety of specific chemical requirements and will be able to manage a wide range of dangerous and non-dangerous goods. Each new warehouse will be optimized for efficiency and safety the same as all existing Rinchem facilities. The new warehouses will have wire-guided forklift steering controls, sealed flooring, containment dams, eye wash stations and strict safety protocols. In addition to these standard features the warehouses will have: high-pressure in rack sprinklers, heat-activated fire doors, firewalls and explosion-proof lighting.

The campus will be broken up into four separate warehouse spaces to support proper segregation and to offer multiple temperature zones as mentioned above. Below is detailed information about each new warehouse space and its capabilities.

Warehouse 1 - Non-dangerous goods and general commodities – 4,300 pallet positions

Warehouse 2 – Dangerous goods – materials with low or below freezing temperature requirements - temperature zones maintained from -30 to 10 C - 1,100 pallet positons

Warehouse 3 – Dangerous goods - flammable materials - 3,350 pallet positions

Warehouse 4 – Dangerous goods - toxic materials - 3,600 pallet positions
