Rinchem Wins Contract with Major Semiconductor Manufacturer, Expands Further into China

Albuquerque, NM. August 20, 2008 – Rinchem Company, Inc., a global provider of high purity pre-packaged chemical and gas management solutions, announced today that it is expanding operations further into China to support a major semiconductor manufacturer. Rinchem won the highly competitive contract based on a long history of dedicated services to this customer within the semiconductor industry.

The Total Materials Management (TMM) contract, which starts immediately, includes four major components; 1) shipping chemicals and gases from a variety of manufacturers’ sites throughout the U.S. to a newly developed factory in Dalian, China, 2) management of chemicals and gases in an on-site warehouse including specialized services such as diptube insertion and empty container management, 3) supply chain planning and inventory management, 4) Total Chemical Management (TCM) services to support on-site fab operations. The TMM scope applies to the logistics and supply chain planning elements from the point of chemical manufacture to the end-use customer, and back to the point of manufacture for returnable containers. The on-site warehouse operations include operating the warehouse on behalf of the customer and using Rinchem’s exclusive warehouse technology solution, Chem-Star®. Warehouse operations also include Environmental Services for waste handling.

Rinchem already operates in other regions in Asia for other customers. The expansion is part of Rinchem’s growth strategy, and supports an on-going relationship as a trusted partner for the chip manufacturer.

Jim Moore, President of Rinchem said, “The opportunity to expand our relationship with this chip manufacturer is in line with our growth strategy. We look forward to the opportunity to expand our operations in China.”
